A recent Indiana visitor is off the recruiting board.
Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton four-star forward Darius Bazley picked up an IU offer after visiting campus unofficially in June, but he committed today to Syracuse.
Bazley originally committed to Ohio State, but pulled back from that decision earlier this spring, prior to former head coach Thad Matta leaving the program.
He also visited Xavier recently.
The timing is a bit surprising, as it seemed like Bazley would wait longer before making his choice.
"I really just want to take my time this time around and actually see all the schools," he said in June. "When I committed to Ohio State, it was the only school I had been to other than Xavier - and I didn't really see the school, I just went to a basketball game.
"So I'm really going to take it step by step and see what are the pros and cons from each school and take my time."
Bazley averaged 11.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.8 blocks per game for Princeton in 13 contests last season.
