A new name has emerged on Indiana's radar, with 2018 four-star Ohio forward Jerome Hunter landing an offer from the school on Saturday.
The 6-foot-7, 185-pound small forward from Pickerington (Ohio) North High School is rated as the No. 79 overall player in his class by Rivals.com.
Indiana is the latest Big Ten program to express interest in Hunter, who also holds offers from Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue and Rutgers. Butler, Cincinnati, Dayton, Florida, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Stony Brook, Toledo, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wright State and Xavier have also offered.
Hunter helped lead Pickerington North to a 21-7 overall record and the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I Region 3 final. He recorded of a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds in the Panthers' regional semifinal win over Upper Arlington and finished with 27 points and eight rebounds in the regional final loss.
