Top IU target Romeo Langford seems to be enjoying playing for Kentucky head coach John Calipari and USA's U19 squad this summer.

The five-star shooting guard is blogging about his travels - the U19 World Cup is being played in Egypt - for USA TODAY.

Among Langford's notes from his July 4 post, he noted it's been a "great experience" playing for Calipari in the event.

"He’s one of the coaches that’s been recruiting me so it’s good to have this opportunity to see how he does things," Langford wrote. "He really harps on guys playing hard.

"He doesn’t even care about mistakes, he just wants your effort. So that’s cool."

Langford holds offers from IU, UK, Duke and UNC among others. He averaged 29 points per game this season to lead New Albany to a 25-4 overall record.

As a sophomore, he averaged 29.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game for a 27-1 New Albany team that won the Indiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A State Championship, the school's first since 1973.
