16-4A Soccer: Trio of Indians earn hat tricks in Tribe's 15-0 win over Diboll

Feb. 14—DIBOLL — Three Jacksonville Indians scored hat tricks and two more added two goals each in the Tribe's 15-0 trouncing of Diboll Tuesday night at Lumberjack Stadium.

Those earning a hat trick included Sebastian Juarez, Cristian Juarez and Jacob Gonzalez.

Christian Castillo and Karol Cardenas tossed in two goals apiece while Armando Lara and Gerardo Arredondo had a goal each.

Jonathan Frias, Ethan Nava and Chris Cardenas supplied the Tribe with three assists apiece, while Davian Tavera, Sebastian Juarez and Lara pitched in an assist each.

Tribe goal keeper Davy Smith earned his eighth clean sheet win of the season.

The Jacksonville coaching staff recognized Gabino Galvan, Jordan Cabrera, Yair Balderas, Bryan Torres and Cole Kilingsworth for their outstanding defensive effort.

The Tribe (12-3-1, 6-0), who are on a six-match winning streak, continue to hold down first place in the District 16-4A standings, while the Lumberjacks fell to 4-8-1, 0-6.

The Tribe have an open date Friday and will host Palestine at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 20.
