A touching moment capped off the Oklahoma spring game.
The Sooners brought in James Woods, a 15-year-old patient at the OU Children’s Hospital with a rare brain tumor, for a first-down carry. All he did was take the handoff from quarterback Kyler Murray and break off a 29-yard touchdown run.

Needless to say, he and the Oklahoma team were stoked.

We saw quite a few special moments at college football spring games over the weekend. Spring games have always been about more than just players getting some reps in a glorified practice. This gesture from the OU program to Woods is more proof of that.
