For the record: Lake Catholic went from 3-17 over the past two seasons to 8-2 this season with a prolific offense that averages 449 yards and 35.4 points per game. The Cougars' only losses are to Cardinal Mooney and Walsh Jesuit ... Field started the season 2-4, but won two of its last three. ... Lake has smothered teams with its offense that features QB Frankie Trinetti (2,573 yards and 31 touchdowns). Ace Peterlin (61 catches, 940 yards) is on the doorstep of a 1,000-yard receiving season and Josh Styles adds a powerful running aspect with 1,350 yards. ...
