For the record: Mentor has been hitting anything and everything under the sun to start its postseason run, with a pair of games above the century mark. The Cardinals' offense has been led by Ian Ioppolo from the inside and out, as he averages 26.8 points with 65 3-pointers and 9 rebounds, all of which lead the team. While he's cleaning the inside up, fellow senior Matt Biddell on the cut to the basket with a strong drive with his 23 points. Biddell and Makel Harrison have been handling the offense as well with 5.6 and 4.5 assists, respectively. Along with Tanner Toot as a threat from beyond the arc, Kobe Frasure-Azzano inside and a returning Ryan Calo from an early-season injury, Mentor seems to be poised to hit its average of 88.8 points per game. ... Green is the polar opposite for Mentor, as it has had one game where they were above 80 points and 11 games where it hit north of 60 points. The Bulldogs have made their calling card the defense as they've held opponents to an average of 49.6 points per game and have held six teams to 40 points or lower. However injuries have hindered the Bulldogs late in the season, and they will have to battle with the strength of Mentor's press.
