For the record: Both sides have played close games this season, just like when the two met at the end of the regular season, where Fairport was victorious by three. The Skippers are enjoying the program's best season in over 25 years. Fairport is led by senior James Gadomski, who leads the team in points (23.2 per game), assists (4.7) and steals (3.3) and is second in blocks (1.4) and rebounds (8.0). The Skippers also have strong scorers in Yomar Castellano (14.3 points) and Josh Parsons (13.6 points) with Trystun Doeing as a threat from beyond the arc. ... Cornerstone had learning moments early in the season but grew as the season progressed. The Patriots are led by the area's leading scorer Quinn Kwasniak at 33.9 points per game. He connected on 133 3-pointers in the regular season. The Patriots also feature Owen Pugh, who averages 16.9 points to go with 6.6 assists as well.
