A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.
C: Daily Thunder. Royce Young (who else?) fabulously details the history of the Oklahoma City Thunder as we know them, five years on.
PF: Grantland. Zach Lowe lightheartedly ranked each of the NBA’s 30 team nicknames, a move that offended Washington Wizards owner Ted Leonsis so much that he snarkily took a dig at Zach, his website, and Grantland Rice. And anyone that’s named “Grantland,” apparently.
SF: SB Nation. Tom Ziller goes around the league to take down a terrible Charley Rosen column, and wonder about the awfully optimistic ranking that his fellow SBN’ers handed Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond on Monday.
SG: Star Tribune. A long and revealing interview with a very confident Flip Saunders, as he winds down his first offseason as acting as the Minnesota Timberwolves’ main personnel chief.
PG: Sportnando. Due to a lingering case of pneumonia, New York Knicks forward Andrea Bargnani will not play in Eurobasket this summer.
6th: Miami Herald. Greg Oden’s one-year contract appears to be the best move for both sides on the bargaining table.
7th: Raptors Republic. A very cool post from William Lou that breaks down just how the Raptors can create great shots for their shiny new Steve Novak.
8th: Hardwood Paroxysm. Jack Winter takes on the Atlanta Hawks’ incredibly intriguing summer.
9th: ESPN Los Angeles. Clippers center DeAndre Jordan is looking for that much-vaunted “fresh start” with a new coaching staff in town.
10th: Blog-a-Bull. This is a fantastic column about Chicago Bulls big man Taj Gibson, penned by Ricky O’Donnell, that all of you should read. Report back on Wednesday morning with your thoughts.
