    Former Michigan Miss Basketball winner Rickea Jackson taken No. 4 overall in WNBA Draft by Los Angeles Sparks

    Rickea Jackson is remembered as one of the best ever to play high school basketball in Michigan and her legacy in the sport continued on Monday night in the WNBA Draft. Jackson, a former star at Detroit Edison and the 2019 Mick McCabe Miss Basketball award winner, was drafted fourth overall by the Los Angeles Sparks. Splitting her collegiate career between Mississippi and Tennessee, Jackson ended her high school career as a three-time state champion and Edison's all-time leading scorer with 1,771 points.
