Tennessee Titans kicker Stephen Gostkowski had himself a day during the team’s 31-30 Week 3 victory over the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.
Gostkowski was a perfect 6-for-6 on the afternoon, and it was his leg that kept the Titans in the game while the offense struggled to finish drives with touchdowns during the first half.
The veteran wasn’t just making chip shots, either. He nailed three field goals of 50-plus yards, including a clutch game-winner with under two minutes to play.

With six makes in Week 3 against the Vikings, Gostkowski now has nine on the season, one more than the Titans had in all of 2019.
It has been quite the turnaround for the 36-year-old. Before hitting the game-winner in Week 1, fans were ready to run Gostkowski out of town, and who can blame them after last season.
However, Gostkowski has recovered nicely since then and has given the Titans’ field goal unit something it didn’t have all of last season: stability.
