Trayvon Martin Breaking News: George Zimmerman's Brother: Civil Lawsuit 'Might Not Be Very Flattering'

by Wochit 1:20 mins

If Trayvon Martin's family decides to file a wrongful-death suit against George Zimmerman, they could be opening a Pandora's box, according to Zimmerman's older brother. In an email to The Huffington Post. Robert Zimmerman Jr. said "A myriad of things that were off-limits in a criminal trial would come into play in a civil case, things that might not be very flattering to Trayvon or his family," A second juror in the George Zimmerman trial spoke publicly, and said that she believes Mr. Zimmerman is guilty of murder in the shooting of Trayvon Martin. The juror, known as Juror B29, said that she and the others on the six-woman jury had no choice but to vote for an acquittal in the case because of Florida law and the evidence presented at the trial in Sanford, Florida. Tracy Martin, the father of slain Florida teenager, Trayvon Martin, is expected to discuss race and profiling before the Congressional Caucus on Black Men and Boys. Tracy Martin is also expected to comment on President Obama's remarks on race after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in Trayvon's death.
