Ticket prices for the Stanley Cup finals in New York are topping one thousand dollars, an expense that many New York Rangers fans are reluctant to pay. But for others who have waited 20 years for the event, the price is a bargain. (June 5)
William: How does one pay back the dead? There are presently no members of the immediate black community who were slaves. Those who were slaves have long since died. Giving money to the present members of the black community will in no way help them nor atone for the wrongs done to their long dead ancestors. What does need to be done is raise the level of education for all students presently in the US, bringing all schools up to the highest standards that all person share equal footing in regards to education. Education is the great equalizer, not money.
