Mark Jackson talks to the media after Sunday's Game 4 victory.
James: All this debate "proved" is that Hillary is a good debater who by her own admission probably spent countless hours preparing her one line zinger "spontaneous" comments. It doesn't change where the two candidates stand on the basic issues. Economy Hillary - tax the "rich" and redistribute the money to paid for Democratic voters. Trump - do what it takes to encourage companies to stay and expand in the US versus overseas. Cut back on over regulation. Trade Hillary - all free trade is good, just like not having any borders when it comes to immigrant invaders Trump - it is more important to have fair trade which benefits the US business economy overall than just having access to cheap trinkets. Put the US first. Race Relations Hillary - there is systemic racism and so we deplorables should learn to accept looting, arson and vandalism while holding the police accountable for the problem. Trump - first get control over law and order, then have a rational discussion when we aren't being held hostage to threats and violence. Get the bad guys off the street without demonizing an entire race. Mid East Hillary - same old policy of working with our supposed "allies" several of whom are funding the their own terrorist groups. Continue to flood Europe with a culture of refugees that are destabilizing countries. Try to play the world's policeman and pay for the privilege. Trump - deal with the situation quickly and decisively, which includes seizing control of ISIS funding sources, such as the oil wells which they captured. If you're not with us, you're against us. Only get involved when national security issues are at stake. Expect partners/allies to pay their fair share. Energy Hillary - the overriding consideration is global warming. Decimate the coal industry in the pursuit of government clean energy investments like Solyndra. Trump - clean energy is no where near being able to meet the US energy needs in the foreseeable future. Develop all energy sources to free the US from even more dependency on the Mid East It is really that simple. Vote for which candidate best reflects your views. The best "debater" doesn't qualify one to be president. It is their honesty, integrity, track record of actual accomplishments and policies which count.
