NBA Playoffs: Russell Westbrook By The Numbers

Wochit 0:52 mins

Russell Westbrook has been a lightening rod since he joined the Oklahoma City Thunder out of UCLA in 2008 as the fourth overall pick in the NBA draft. Critics argue that Westbrook should defer more to MVP teammate Kevin Durant. It is hard to argue with his team’s results though. The Thunder had the NBA’s best record last season and have finished among the NBA’s top three records each of the past three years. Westbrook is one of only five players in NBA history to put up 4,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 1,500 assists in his first three seasons in the NBA. Regardless of the stats, Westbrook and Durant find their backs against the wall right now, down 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals to San Antonio.

Win. Gloat. Repeat.
