The Obama administration cast the average monthly Medicare drug premium price increase as a matter of inches. It only rose $1 in the last three years. The Centers for Medicare&Medicaid-Services said that amid payment rates and rules they dislike, more doctors are opting to not treat Medicare patients. Federal officials are temporarily banning certain types of home health and ambulance providers in three major, high-fraud cities from enrolling in Medicare or Medicaid. The bans will apply to home health agencies in Miami, and Chicago, and ambulance services in Houston.
