Joey Logano pulls away to win the STP 300 in Chicago.
Kenny: Below is the best comment of the day on CNN: "I think that what you and a lot of other media types are missing is the fact that there are many, many people that are fed up and disgusted with politics and politicians as we know them. It is not a strictly partisan issue either, or there would not be both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump having success. For too long politicians have represented only their own or their political parties interest and not that of the people that voted them in. I don't think there is a single one of them that, had they been in a real job, would not have been fired in short order. I do agree with what you said in regards to getting big money out of politics, but more candidates will not fix the problem. The problem is that the system is rotten to the core and the current politician types, no matter what they call themselves, are just more of the same. Possibly getting rid of political parties altogether, so they each had to stand on their own merit and didn't have their party buddies to cover for them might be a good start, but that is probably never going to happen. I don't agree with everything Trump says, but he did finance his own primary campaign, isn't beholden to any special interest groups, and doesn't need the money or fame that many of them yearn for. He is the first candidate in my lifetime that can say that. He also tends to look at things using common sense, rather than weighing political correctness, and viewing the economy from a business viewpoint, actually bringing up the idea of cutting fat, creating jobs, keeping businesses here in the US, and reducing trade deficits. While there have been candidates in the past that have brought up some of those points-NONE have ever actually done anything about it once they were elected, in typical political fashion. Our government desperately needs a huge change, and there are many people that agree and are no longer willing to put up with the corruption and deceit. I'm going to give Trump a chance -it's better to take a chance than to end up with what you already know is going to be the status quo (and there is no one that typifies that better than Hillary Clinton, one of the best "politicians" of all time. Finally, More police shootings. More violent protests. More terrorist activities. Thank you Obama."
