Facebook Rolls Out Atlas Ad Service to Better Track User Activity

Facebook is rolling out 'Atlas' today -- the advertising service it acquired from Microsoft earlier this year, as it seeks to better track its 1.3 billion users' activity and interests on the Web. Erik Johnson, Head of Atlas said, 'We've rebuilt Atlas from the ground up to tackle today's marketing challenges, like reaching people across devices and bridging the gap between online impressions and offline purchases.' The first holding company to sign an agency-wide partnership with Atlas is Omnicom. Johnson said powered by Neustar technology, Omnicom will work with Atlas to serve its clients, including Pepsi and Intel.
