With time running out, U.S. officials are struggling to cope with the task of launching the new online health insurance exchanges at the heart of President Barack Obama's signature health reforms by an October 1 deadline. George Zimmerman emerged from a Florida courthouse a free man, cleared of all charges in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Defense attorney Mark O'Mara suggested Zimmerman's safety would be an ongoing concern. He says a fringe element of society still wants revenge for Martin's killing. NAACP president and others say it remains hard for African Americans to get justice. The statement comes after a Florida jury found George Zimmerman not guilty in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager.
