Disc golf is a sport for everyone. The rules are easy to learn and the playing environment is always beautiful. Imagine playing golf, but instead of using clubs and a ball it's your arms and a driver disc, (very much like a Frisbee). You throw from the tee to the hole in the fewest shots possible. Having the best driver disc is vital, so I have compiled a list of what I believe to be the top five driver discs, along with prices and a short review of each one.

Power: Very powerful and not recommended for players who throw below 300ft. 1.8 stability rating.
Excellent for windy conditions, very fast and stable. Handled well by strong arms. Fabulous for backhand and sidearm throws.
Innova Champion Groove 165 - 174g.
Cost: $12.95-$15.99
Power: Can be thrown over maximum distance, a lighter weight, can be used for players who throw below 300ft.
Made in Innova Champion Plastic, great for long range turnovers. Versatile, can be used affectively by beginners. 1.0 stability rating
Discraft ESP Nuke 145g - 174g.
Cost: $14.99
Power: Goes the distance, it is very fast, and can be thrown by moderate to expert players. Not recommended for players who throw below 250 foot.has a wide heavy rim and great velocity.
A 1.6 stability rating makes it useful to a widerange of players. Tends to need stable weather conditions to work at best power.
Discraft Elite Z Crush 145g - 174g.
Cost: $12.95
Power: Extremely fast with an excellent glide. Used by professionals as their main driver. Best if only used by players who throw above 300 foot.
Extremely good distance in nearly all wind conditions which makes it my favorite. The weather being as spasmodic as it is, this kind of driver is needed for the serious player. Has a wide rim and a flat top built for speed. 1.8 stability rating.
Innova Champion Valkyrie to 145g - 175g.
Cost: $15.99
Power: Maximum speed power, best used by experts and near experts.
Speed, glide and flight, the Valkyrie has all three. Made of plastic with a wide rim of 21.2cm. The Valkyrie has great durability, and flies well in most weather conditions. 1.8 stability rating.
