Hulk Hogan Shocking Sex Tape Scandal Confirmed by TMZ

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Celebrity tabloid site TMZ.com broke the news today that a third party was shopping around a secret celebrity sex tape featuring the former multi-time World Heavyweight wrestling champion Hulk Hogan. TMZ reports they have seen a portion of the grainy footage, which features the tanned "Hulkster" and an unidentified brunette who is neither his ex-wife Linda nor his current wife Jennifer. There has been no response from Hogan himself, whose real name is Terry Bollea. However a lawyer for Hogan stated they would be taking steps to make sure the tape is not sold to Vivid Entertainment.

This late-breaking Hulk Hogan sex scandal is just another twisted tale in the unfolding drama that revolves around the 80s great. During wrestling's boom era, Hulk Hogan was on top of the world. As the catalyst for sports entertainment, Hogan was the first wrestler with crossover entertainment appeal. He starred in several movies, TV pilots, and even had a Saturday morning cartoon, "Hulk Hogan's Rock and Wrestling."

After Hulk Hogan's wrestling career came to a halt, he resurfaced on VH1 in the hit reality television series "Hogan Knows Best." But some say the reality television series is what brought the once mighty icon to his knees.

After "Hogan Knows Best" wrapped its fourth season, his son Nick was involved in a serious car accident that left his friend John Graziano paralyzed and with a brain injury. While Hogan went into damage control, his now ex-wife Linda filed for divorce from Hogan.

Faced with lawsuits and divorce proceedings, Hulk Hogan alleges to have gone into a deep depression and even contemplated suicide. Hogan would later confess that it was his "American Gladiators" co-host who was able to talk him back to sanity.

This latest bout with negative publicity comes at a crucial time for Hulk. The blonde-haired muscle God from Venice Beach, California has taken positive steps towards a new and positive life. Hogan married his current wife Jennifer in a private ceremony in 2010. And though Hogan is no longer able to wrestle, he has managed to hold a top position with the TNA Wrestling outfit. If a sex tape is released of Hulk Hogan, it's likely to throw Hogan back into a tailspin.

Unfortunately for Hogan, his life seems to be parlaying that of Mickey Rourke in the movie "The Wrestler." A prime time figure that once ruled the airwaves, he is now struggling just to maintain a decent life. As a lifelong "Hulk-a-maniac", I wish the best for Hogan. He deserves a good life, after being a hero to so many youngsters.
