Anna Kournikova Leaves ‘The Biggest Loser’; Could She Be Pregnant?

Despite having left the world of tennis in 2003, Anna Kournikova has continued to be the center of media attention nearly a decade after her retirement from sports. (See my article, "Anna Kournikova: Why She Quit Tennis and Where She is Now")

Now, a surprising announcement and an equally surprising rumor have put Kournikova at the center of the media's attention.

Kournikova leaves "The Biggest Loser"

When trainer Jillian Michaels left the popular weight loss reality television show "The Biggest Loser" at the end of Season 11, Kournikova took her place. Kournikova made her debut on the show at the beginning of Season 12 and expressed a great deal of enthusiasm for her participation in the reality series as a trainer.

Viewers were skeptical about Kournikova's introduction to the series. Some were in support of her appearance on the show, while others were adamantly against it, believing it could negatively impact ratings and contestants.

Critics were right, and fans of the show were put off by Kournikova. Kournikova clashed with many of the contestants. Some believe she was creating conflict with individuals behind the camera as well. Considering these issues, it's no wonder Kournikova won't be returning for season 13. Kournikova refuses to comment on her reason for leaving the series.

Kournikova at the center of pregnancy rumors

Kournikova has been in a long-term relationship with singer Enrique Iglesias. The two have no plans to marry, despite the length of their relationship. However, Kournikova has expressed a desire to have children, whether her significant other is ready or not.

Last month, photos of Kournikova and Iglesias surfaced. The two were on a boat, Kournikova wearing a white bikini. The pictures sparked pregnancy rumors due to Kournikova's seemingly swollen stomach, appearing as if she is pregnant. As if her slightly swollen stomach wasn't enough to spark rumors, one photograph depicted Iglesias kissing her abdomen, thus confirming many fans suspicions that Kournikova may indeed be pregnant.

Kournikova and Iglesias have not confirmed or denied a pregnancy.
