Zack Ryder Soundboard Among Top 5 WWE IPhone and Android Apps

If you cannot get enough of the WWE with their weekly shows, online programs like "WWE NXT" and print content in the WWE Magazine then you can get it on the go with multiple apps for the iPhone and Android devices.

The following five apps focus on WWE news, WWE spoilers and specific WWE superstar information including stars like John Cena, CM Punk, Zack Ryder, Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton.

WWE Superstar Slingshot

Taking advantage of popular iPhone games like Angry Birds, the WWE released their own wrestling-based action puzzle game entitled "WWE Superstar Slingshot." The game has more than 100 levels of action where players have to successfully launch their WWE Superstar across the obstacles and into the opponent.

The WWE Superstar version costs $1.99 while a shorter free Summerslam version of the game is available to download in the Apple App store.

Zack Ryder Soundboard

Android owners can play the best quotes from rising WWE Superstar Zack Ryder with his own interactive soundboard. Turn the speaker up on your phone and play some of his best quotes like "Woo Woo Woo" and "You Know It."

The best part is that using the settings, you can save them as ringtones or notifications to your Android device. The app is free and a part of the Android Market. Other WWE Superstar sound boards include The Rock, Booker T and R-Truth.

WWE Official Mobile Magazine

The WWE Magazine app transforms the printed pages of the WWE magazine into an interactive reading experience. Priced at $1.99, it is a lot cheaper than the standard magazine and has extra content. After reading articles from the magazine, you can look at picture galleries, watch video clips or mini-games.

Wrestling Moves

Can't figure out what the high-flying move off the top rope was? Doing live commentary at a random bar brawl? Well then the Wrestling Moves app is for you. Whip out this app to load a comprehensive list of pro-wrestling moves that cover every area of the ring and beyond.

The categories are cleanly organized and other than the tacky Hulk Hogan backdrop on the main menu, this is a great reference device. Several of the descriptions come with pictures so you can visualize the moves as you read them. The app cost $.99.

WWE Legends of Wrestlemania

Everyone loves to celebrate the classic WWE stars like Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Bret Hart and Andre the Giant, so the WWE Legends of Wrestlemania is a perfect gaming choice. The game's graphics are average at best, but the game play and options make up for it. The wrestling is pretty basic compared to console versions, but you can still implement reversals, weapon shots and signature moves.

The iPhone exclusive game costs $2.99 and the price is worth it because of the replay value and "Create-A-Wrestler" mode.
