CFL GM pleads guilty to sexual assault
REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN(AP) —The general manager of the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders has pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a teenage girl.
Eric Tillman’s trial in Regina was to have begun Monday. He has been on paid administrative leave from the team.
Tillman, the married father of two, was charged last February after a 16-year-old girl alleged he sexually assaulted her last summer.
Tillman helped lead the Riders to the Grey Cup championship in 2007.
