Four lead for Waters?

It’s been a relatively quiet summer for Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha safety Lorenzo Waters. The 6-foot-1, 197-pounder hasn’t taken any visits to date, but is beginning to think about trips coming up.

“I’m trying to get down to Miami sometime soon, it might have to be for an official visit,” he said. “I’m trying to visit Michigan too.

“I’d say I’m interested in Wake Forest and Maryland as well.”

What sticks out about those four schools to the three-star prospect?

“Miami’s reputation for putting people in the league is big and I hear good things about the school. I’ve heard good things from Arie Kouandjio,” he stated. “I just like Michigan period. I want to find out more about them.

“As for Maryland and Wake Forest. I’m interested in Maryland because it’s close and people can get there. Wake Forest is smaller and I like that.”

While the No. 59 safety in the country has a few standing out, what does he want in a college?

“What I’m really looking for is where I fit in and feel comfortable, on the football field and off.”
