For years, fans of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have spoken so highly of the tennis stars that you got the impression some folks believed the tennis stars could walk on water. Turns out they weren't too far off.

Over the weekend, the two best players in the sport kicked off the 2011 ATP season by hitting balls on a raised court in the middle of Doha Bay in Qatar. The tennis season officially begins on Monday with the start of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.
No word on who won the volley-heavy match, but I'd have to think the slower conditions favored Nadal, the clay-court master.
