Below is the new Stella McCartney* dress Caroline Wozniacki will reportedly wear at next month's U.S. Open:

First off, whatever you think of this, it's a vast improvement over Wozniacki's old dresses, one of which I wrote looked like something Ed Hardy would have designed for the 1896 Olympics. Those were also designed by McCartney for adidas and Wozniacki seemed to wear them a lot (he says while wearing the same pair of shorts for the fourth consecutive day).

I like this one, though. Even though it could be the outfit for the inevitable female "Terminator" movie, the dress looks sleek, wears well and may or may not be bulletproof.  

* Yes, Stella McCartney is the daughter of Paul McCartney, a fact I just learned after years of thinking that the famed English designer was simply blessed with a coincidentally cool last name.
