New York Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan and striker Bradley Wright-Phillips were named to Major League Soccer's Best XI for 2016. The team was selected by a combination of players, club executives, and media members. Both players were previously named to the Best XI, Kljestan in 2008 and Wright-Phillips in 2014. The Red Bulls are one of three teams with multiple players on the squad, along with FC Dallas and the LA Galaxy. Kljestan had 20 assists this season, the second highest single season total in league history. He also scored six goals, while leading the Red Bulls to a first place finish in the Eastern Conference. Former Swansea City striker Lee Trundle was always known as a bit of a maverick. He remains no different. This penalty kick in a charity game sums him up perfectly. 40-year-old Trundle is now an ambassador for Swansea City and is involved with coaching their academy.
