    Nationals make a rare trip to Fort Myers

    The Nationals‘ bus left Ballpark of the Palm Beaches at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, headed across the state for a rare spring matchup with the Minnesota Twins in Fort Myers. Most of the regulars stayed back for light workouts, though veterans Anthony Rendon, Chris Heisey and Stephen Drew all made the trip. Ryan Zimmerman and new center fielder Adam Eaton were originally scheduled to go, though Dusty Baker changed his mind on both of them, choosing not to make them take the trip. Neither has any health issues that led to that decision. Righty A.J. Cole will start for the Nationals, and young righties Austin Voth and Erick Fedde are also expected to pitch. Lineups are below.
