BRIEF-Soccer-Eto’o hoping to end career at Real Mallorca
MADRID, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o plans to return to Spain at some point and end his career at his former club Real Mallorca.
“You know me and you know that when I say something that comes from my heart it’s true,” Eto’o, 28, said in an interview published on Mallorca’s website (www.rcdmallorca.es) on Saturday.
“I hope to end my sporting career at the club that is close to my heart which is Real Mallorca,” he added.
The Cameroon international, who joined Inter from Barcelona in the close season, won the King’s Cup with Mallorca in 2003 and became the club’s all-time top scorer in the league with 54 goals before signing for Barca in 2004.
