Inter Keeper Julio Cesar Relishing Trip To Barcelona
Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar is counting down the hours to kick-off to their key Champions League Group F clash with Spanish powerhouse Barcelona.
“We are going to Barcelona!” he enthusiastically told the club’s website after yesterday’s win over Bologna.
“I can’t wait, since I have never played at the Camp Nou.”
Inter claimed a comfortable 3-1 win at the Stadio Dall'Ara to stretch their lead at the top of the table to eight points ahead of this afternoon’s games.
“We conceded an equalizer soon after taking the lead, but remained focused and found the strength to react,” explained the 30-year-old.
“In the end it seemed like an easy win, but this was only down to our good display. It’s not easy to play here.
“Anyway, it’s always important to resume with a win after an international break and we managed it again this time around.
“We had a good game and achieved an important result that will now put pressure on the other title-chasers.”
Inter will host Fiorentina at the San Siro next weekend.
