Galliani: Victory Over Roma Was The Turning Point In Milan’s Season
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has reflected on the campaign so far, and has identified the turning point as the comeback victory against Roma.
A calamitous mistake by Thiago Silva allowed Jeremy Menez to score after just three minutes, but Galliani believes that the team are still riding on the confidence they gained from the second half goals from Ronaldinho and Pato.
"Half-time in that game won't go down in history, but at that time we were 13th and were losing 1-0," Galliani told Sky Sport 24.
"Since then the wind has changed and the only two draws that we have had were with the great Real Madrid and with Napoli, where we were winning until the 90th minute.
"We could have taken everything but things are going well in any case."
The Diavoli are now in third place in Serie A, although they remain seven points behind runaway leaders Inter.
