Unirea Urziceni Defender George Galamaz Not Surprised With Champions League Success
Unirea Urziceni defender George Galamaz is not surprised with his side's performances in the Champions League.
The minnows aim to qualify for the knock-out stage when they face Stuttgart on Matchday 6. They only need a draw to qualify for the last 16.
"I'm not surprised because I was prepared to face some big names in the group stage," the defender to UEFA's official website. "It's a new experience for us and it's very important to celebrate every game. To play these teams is an honour, but we thought from the beginning that we had a chance of finishing above them.
"People might expect me to say we're eager to play big sides like [Barcelona] or Real Madrid or the big English clubs, but it's not like that. We are just concentrating on getting through the group stage and only then will we think about our next opponent.
"Even if it is a big name, we will approach them like all our games: with no fear and doing what it takes to win the match."
