Ronaldinho Out To Make Milan History
Milan ace Ronaldinho is relishing his almost convincing renaissance under new boss Leonardo and admits he is happy to be part of a family.
“I always feel the same, even though a lot of things have happened over the past three years,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I have not changed. I just have more experience. The difference is that I am now playing and I am lucky enough to play for a winning team.
“It was difficult to sit on the bench. I am only happy when I am able to do what I love the most and that is playing football.
“I am enjoying myself. I like this Milan. We can play attacking football with this kind of players. And we are friends, on top of being team-mates. It’s a family and Milanello feels like home,” added the Brazilian star.
Milan seem revitalised after a poor start to the season and ‘Dinho’ is confident that the club’s future is rosy and he is determined to have a starring role in it.
“I want to be like [Paolo] Maldini,” he said.
“I want to play until I am 40 and maybe more. With Milan? Why not?
“We are doing well now and have regained our self-confidence. Can we challenge Inter for the title? It’s difficult, but anything can happen. And if we do well this season, this team can make Milan’s history books.”
