Real Madrid Veteran Guti Set For Winter Exit - Report
Real Madrid midfielder Guti could be set for a move away from the club during the winter transfer window according to AS.
The 33-year-old is set to meet with club director general Jorge Valdano at lunch today with a possible exit reported to be up for discussion.
Guti has not featured in the Madrid match-day squad for any of their last four games since his half-time outburst at coach Manuel Pellegrini during Madrid's humiliating Copa del Rey fourth round, first leg defeat to Alcorcon a fortnight ago.
Pellegrini has since insisted that the player is not being punished in any way but has not included him in his plans for any game since and has also been quoted as saying the Madrid veteran needs to raise his performance level.
Ironically Guti cited the Chilean coach as one of the main reasons for him wishing to remain at Madrid after he considered options away from the Bernabeu for the twilight of his career.
It is understood that Guti has asked former team-mate Wesley Sneijder to speak on his behalf about a possible switch to Italian champions Inter.
