Napoli Midfielder Walter Gargano Nearing Top Form - Agent
Napoli midfield ace Walter Gargano has had an indifferent start to the Serie A campaign, but his representative insists things are bound to improve.
“The lad is feeling better, but he is not at 100 per cent yet,” Enzo D’Ippolito told Radio Goal.
“However, the worst is behind him.”
D’Ippolito also represents the interests of Mariano Bogliacino, who has been on the fringe of the Partenopei squad so far this term.
“Bogliacino could be sent out on loan,” he explained.
“We’ll see how the situation evolves. I don’t think the January transfer session will be too lavish and only a few teams will complete major coups.”
Gargano is facing a race against time to be available for Uruguay’s two-legged World Cup play-off tie against Costa Rica.
The
former Danubio man picked up a knee problem last weekend, but was
nonetheless given the green light to link up with his national side.
