Milan Boss Leonardo Hails 'Extraordinary' First-Half Against Lazio
Milan continued to climb the table with a 2-1 win over Lazio and coach Leonardo was thrilled by the first-half performance from his players at the Stadio Olimpico.
"[It was] an extraordinary first half. We had the right approach, the right concentration," he explained to Puntosport.
"In the second-half we suffered, because in our system we must have the ball in attack or you risk some things [in defence]."
Milan have picked up results since a 2-1 win over Roma on October 18th, catapulting them into third place in the Serie A standings, but the tactician has asked for more consistency in their performances.
"It is difficult to continually dominate for ninety minutes. We need to work on our continuity" concluded the Brazilian.
The Rossoneri have not lost since a shocking 1-0 reverse against FC Zurich in the Champions League on September 30.
