Michael Rensing Heading For Bayern Munich Exit

Goalkeeper Michael Rensing has made it clear that he's leaving Bayern Munich in the summer of 2010.

The glovesman has an expiring contract and wants to move on in order to get regular first team football elsewhere.

"I am only thinking about my own future at the moment," Rensing was quoted as saying by Sport Bild. "I want to leave Bayern next summer in order to prove my worth at another side.

"I am not leaving in the winter transfer window. I want to leave Bayern in a good way and want to return to the starting XI. It's important for me to leave the club with positive memories.

"It was never going to be easy for me to replace Oliver Kahn between the sticks. It would have been better for my career if I had left FCB three years ago. I could have had more experience by now. However, my time will come."

The 25-year-old has made 52 league appearances so far for Der Rekordmeister.
