Lazio Issue Press Silence And Ritiro After Defeat To Milan
After another defeat today at home against Milan, Lazio have announced that after next Wednesday's training the team will retreat into a training ground for ten days.
Following the international break the Biancocelesti will face Napoli at the San Paolo stadium, certainly not an easy fixture considering the Azzurri's recent form.
Meanwhile, everyone surrounding Lazio is keeping quiet after today's defeat at the Olimpico. President Claudio Lotito left the stadium without saying anything, as did the coach and the players. In any case, the fact the team will go into the ritiro suggests Lotito still intends to keep faith in coach Davide Ballardini.
Prior to the match there had been rumours linking Zdenek Zeman with the Lazio coaching job. The Czech coach already coached the Biancocelesti between 1994 and 1997.
