Juventus Striker Amauri Passed Fit For Cagliari Clash
Juventus striker Amauri has shaken off injury at the last minute and has been given the green light to face Cagliari on Sunday.
There were doubts over whether the hitman would play in Sardinia and Ferrara had only Alessandro Del Piero available up front for the trip. Amauri hadn't trained since picking up a back injury against Bordeaux.
While later tests excluded any serious damage, he was unable to train on Friday, fuelling speculation that he would be left out of the squad.
However, he has passed some last minute tests and will be on the flight to Cagliari. Here is the list of players that Ferrara has picked for the game as reported by La Repubblica.
Buffon, Caceres, Chiellini, Felipe Melo, Cannavaro, Marchisio, Del Piero, Amauri, Chimenti, Manninger, Zebina, Camoranesi, Poulsen, Molinaro, Giovinco, Grygera, Sissoko, Ariaudo, Diego, De Ceglie, Tiago, Legrottaglie, Immobile.
The news of Amauri's inclusion will be welcomed by the team as he scored the winner in this fixture last year. Juve are unbeaten at the Sant'Elia since 1999 when they lost 1-0.
