The first ever one-legged final of the Asian Champions League kicks off shortly at Tokyo’s National Stadium.

Pohang Steelers of South Korea and Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad are the two teams aiming to lift the continental prize.

Goal.com’s is at the stadium and took the opportunity to chat to some local fans just before they took their seats to watch the biggest match in Asian club football.

"I thought a Japanese team would be here,” said 59 year-old Michiyuki Kuzunuki of Tokyo.

“So I bought the ticket about one month ago. This ticket has special design. It's good. I watched these kinds of international games like Toyota Cup in the past.

"It is a good opportunity because it is not so easy to go abroad to watch football I hope I could watch Japanese team playing at the ACL final some day.”

Shinya Ikeda is still looking forward to the clash despite the fact that his team, Nagoya Grampus, were defeated at the semi-final stage by Al Ittihad.

"I am very interested in football business and am studying that subject,” said the 29 year-old.

“So I wanted to see how an international game is organised. I want to work at a football club.

The Nagoya fan is as neutral as they come.

"Al Ittihad or Pohang? I don’t mind.”
