With a total of 9,329 votes, you, the readers, expressed by a 56% margin (5,246 votes) that Fabregas will end the summer without a move to Barcelona and will continue to captain Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Indeed, as the summer wains and teams begin their pre-season training in earnest, the chances of Fabregas leaving Arsenal for Barca are becoming more and more slim. However, as the rumours surrounding the young Gunner have been tumultuous over the course of the summer, the scale could well tip in either direction. By the end of the summer, who knows which team Fabregas will call his own?
