Fiorentina's Juan Vargas Set To Be Monitored By Top European Clubs - Report
Fiorentina defender Juan Vargas has caught the eye of more than just his current club and Real Madrid, the team he was allegedly going to join as early as January.
A host of big European clubs are now showing interest in the 26-year-old, including English sides Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool, reigning Champions League holders Barcelona, and both Inter and Milan at home, according to La Repubblica.
Should the Peruvian international decide to leave Florence, director Pantaleo Corvino is already seeking a replacement in Los Blancos' Royston Drenthe.
Vargas scored the winner against Lyon, that saw the Gigliati qualify for the next phase of the major European competition.
A figure around the €20 million mark was what Real Madrid were offering for the versatile player.
