Alvaro Negredo Will Return To Real Madrid - Ruud van Nistelrooy
Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is convinced that Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo will return to the Bernabeu as "he has Real Madrid in his heart".
Negredo left Madrid during the summer and joined Sevilla in a 14 million switch but Los Blancos retained the option of buying him back for 17 million anytime within the next two years and van Nistelrooy believes it is likely.
"During the pre-season I told Negredo that I really like his style. I've seen him train, play and I love what I see. In fact, he's showing his quality at Sevilla. In a way, playing like I do: he moves, touches and finishes. He's a humble kid, whose heart is in Madrid and he is also part of the youth setup," van Nistelrooy said in an interview with AS.
The 33-year-old striker's presence at Madrid may be a deciding factor in whether Negredo returns in 2010 or not but van Nistelrooy days he is not thinking that far ahead.
"I do not think about next year. I think about today and my goal is to play, score
goals and return to the level I had before the injury. And if I get back to that
level we will see what happens," he remarked.
