Real Madrid are in talks with Malaga over signing midfielder Isco. AS reported that a meeting took place between Madrid General Manager Jose Angel Sanchez, Malaga Sporting Director Mario Husillos, General Manager, Vicente Casado, the player’s lawyer, Rafael Comino and Isco’s father in the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening. Madrid are considering offering Malaga their striker Alvaro Morata as part of the deal. Carlo Ancelotti is Madrid’s number one choice to succeed Jose Mourinho as club coach, after it was announced on Monday that the Portuguese would leave the club at the end of the season. Marca have reported that the Italian could be unveiled as the new coach as early as 3 June, if Madrid president Florentino Perez is unopposed in elections, and would be therefore be granted another term on 2 June. The Italian press has reported that Serie A champions Juventus are on the verge of signing Gonzalo Higuain from Madrid, but the player’s brother, who also acts as one of his agents, has insisted that no deal has been signed yet with the Italian club.
