Anything Could Happen To Barcelona & Real Madrid In The Copa del Rey - Pep Guardiola
While Barcelona hold every advantage going into the second leg of their Copa del Rey tie with Cultural Leonesa, coach Pep Guardiola has warned that the cup holders are not through yet.
"The first round of the cup is always difficult - Barcelona have fallen on a number of occasions and despite having won away, nothing is done yet," he is quoted as saying by AS.
"I want us to take our duties seriously and do what we have to do. It's the best way to approach a game and move forwards."
Guardiola also believes that Real Madrid's passage is far from certain after their 4-0 defeat to Alcorcon in the first leg of their tie, despite the vast financial outlay during the summer.
"It could happen. They could knock out Alcorcon and Cultural could knock out Barcelona. But Barcelona can eliminate Cultural, and Alcorcon could beat Real Madrid - anything can happen.
"Can Real Madrid [go through]? Yes, of course. They are Real Madrid and they spent more than €200 million, they can eliminate Alcorcon…"
