Santos players Alan, Zezinho, Felipe, Madson and Ze Eduardo held a live video chat last Wednesday that didn't quite go as planned, as it devolved into a hilarious argument between the players and the fans who took part.
After a fan wrote that goalkeeper Felipe has "lettuce hands," the player replied by saying: "What I spend on food for my dog is what you make in a month."
Felipe said Tuesday that "it was a joke that got misinterpreted. I apologize if anybody was offended by it."
First of all, "lettuce hands" might be my new favorite insult. Secondly, a Brazilian goalkeeper joking about what he feeds his dog probably isn't the best path to go down considering what's going on with former Flamengo goalkeeper Bruno right now.
But the most pressing question in all of this has to be: What happened to everybody's shirts?
