Rooney shows off his hair transplant before he probably should have

You have to commend Wayne Rooney for keeping his promise of sharing a picture of his new hair transplant on Monday. But after seeing it, I wish he didn't. Said Rooney of his bloody new hair (via Twitter):

Hi all there's my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that's all normal. #hairwego

Rio Ferdinand then replied with what many were already thinking, saying: "can't wait to see you in the mirror after training styling your locks with loads a products ala ronaldo!" But instead of dismissing such a silly idea, Wayne just said, "haha few months until that. Rizzle." So if you sell hair gel in the Manchester area, expect a visit from Wayne Rooney within the next few months.

Others have said it, but with the scabbiness, it does kind of look like Tobias Funke's hair transplant from Arrested Development...

Hopefully this doesn't go the same way Tobias' did. A fundraiser gala for Wayne's life-threatening hair transplant could be fun, though.
