    During New Orleans Pelicans media day on Friday, teammates of Jrue Holiday revealed Holiday's wife Lauren, a former Ben Davis and U.S. women's national soccer team star, gave birth to a healthy baby girl in North Carolina this week. It was revealed earlier this month that Lauren Holiday would need brain surgery to remove a benign tumor near her orbital socket. But surgery had to wait until after the birth of the couple's first child. According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Holiday (formerly Cheney), will have surgery six weeks after giving birth.
