KIMBERLEY, South Africa, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Fast bowler
Stuart Broad's participation in England's Twenty20 international
against South Africa on Nov. 13 is in doubt after the
23-year-old suffered an injury to his right shoulder.
The seamer jarred his bowling shoulder while fielding in
England's warm-up match against the Eagles in Bloemfontein on
Friday.
He was sent for a precautionary scan the day after the match
which revealed no major damage but England's management decided
not to risk him in any of the remaining warm-up fixtures,
against franchise side the Warriors on Sunday and a South Africa
A side on Tuesday.
"Broad will continue to be assessed over the next 72 hours
when we will be better placed to make a decision on his
fitness," England media manger James Avery told Reuters on
Sunday.
"We haven't set any time frame on his recovery period. We
need to see how he responds to treatment."
